The anchor should be attached directly to your phone, not the case. Before sticking it, make sure to remove the white backing paper to expose the adhesive. Press the anchor firmly onto your phone, then you can place a sturdy case on top to secure it.

If the anchor were to be removed later, it would not leave any permanent residue.
